Terms & Conditions Summary
How it works:
Swap a diesel generator for a Greener battery. After a week, if the battery’s operating costs are lower, it stays for the rest of the agreed rental period, saving even more emissions and money. If not, Greener removes the battery for free and the week’s rental is free of charge.
To qualify:
- Generator must be 200, 300, 500, 800, or 1250 kVA
- Project must start before end of April
- Project must have a minimum duration of 16 weeks
- Site must allow space for a 10ft container
- Greener must approve based on submitted data
Required info:
- Site address & contact details
- Generator size, weekly fuel use & fuel price
- Does the site have generator telemetry data? (Y/N)
- Does the site operate 24/7? (Y/N)
- Application type (e.g., welfare, cranes, EV charging)
Additional notes:
- Any extra cabling or distribution costs are the partner’s responsibility
- If the trial turns into a rental but is cancelled before 16 weeks, the first week will not be billed, but transport costs for returning the battery do apply (unless otherwise discussed)
- The free first week will be deducted at the end of the initial 16 week period.
- Greener provides remote installation while onsite assistance is provided by partner engineers
