No diesel needed for solar park
More than 160,000 solar panels were installed for the Duurkenakker Energy Park. This can provide 20,000 households with solar power. Sunvest BV and Goldbeck Solar wanted to avoid using a diesel generator, when building the park. However, it was difficult to find a grid connection in the area that could supply enough power for the construction. That is why Goldbeck asked us to supply power from a battery during construction.
Clean power for construction
During construction, the battery connected to a small grid connection at a farmer in the area. This grid connection was insufficient to power the entire construction, but thanks to the use of the battery, the capacities could still be achieved with ease. Thanks to this grid-edge solution, we saved 4,559 liters of diesel and 15,725 kg CO2 emissions.
