Issue
GCK Energy provides tailor-made temporary and mobile green energy supply solutions, with and without grid connection. Greener takes on the following challenge with them: the lack of fast charging solutions.
Fast charging with an electric car is not possible in many places in France. The grid capacity there is insufficient: the grid is overloaded or full.
Solution
Four Greener batteries – which we control with our Energy Management System – are now at various locations in France. Every battery is linked to two fast charging points.
Our batteries peak shave on the grid. They continuously charge when there is power available from the grid and the power demand is low. During a power peak, for example when a car comes to charge, they supply what is needed. When the demand decreases again, and the car is fully charged, the battery recharges: ready for the next driver.
